GVK Chinmaya Vidyalaya is well known as one of the front ranking CBSE English medium schools in SPS Nellore District in Andhra Pradesh. The Vidyalaya is situated in a calm and serene environment. The Vidyalaya was founded in on 18 th May 2013 by the then Global Head of Chinmaya Mission H.H. Swami Tejomayananda ji.
In the year 2016, the Vidyalaya got affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi vide Affiliation No: 130434. The Vidyalaya adheres to all the norms prescribed by CBSE. The Vidyalaya is set up in a vast area of 5 acres of land with a spacious playground. The main motto of the Vidyalaya is to provide quality education to the students in and around Kothuru, Nellore. Presently, the Vidyalaya has a student strength of 650+ with 40+ Teaching Staff.

Under the Trainings wings of Central Chinmaya Mission Trust (CCMT) Education Cell, our teaching staffs are given a special training about the implementation of CVP in the academics and fulfil the vision envisioned by Param Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda ji. The CCMT Education Cell organises different types of workshops and seminars for the teachers time to time. The CCMT Education Cell has its own publishing house and various journals and magazines for students are published. The students and teachers of GVK Chinmaya Vidyalaya subscribe to magazines like Chinmaya Udghosh, Balvihar, Tapovan Prasad, LEAP etc… A number of co-scholastic workshop and camps are conducted periodically for the students as well as teachers like Balvihar Camp, Chinmaya Hariseva Camp, Chinmaya Subha Sahas, Chinmaya Netritva, Chinmaya Parichaya and many more.
