EVENT: WORLD’S EARTH DAY
DATE: 22-4-2022
The students of GVK Chinmaya Vidyalaya planted saplings inside the Vidyalaya campus on the occasion of World’s Earth Day.
The High school students took part in an awareness rally. They exhibited placards with slogans creating awareness about taking care of mother Earth. The students interacted with the public and motivated them to save water, plant trees, and avoid using plastic.
EVENT : SWAMI CHINMAYANANDA JI JAYANTHI
GVKCV celebrated the 106 th birth anniversary of Swami Chinmayananda, the great spiritual leader who continues to enthrall and enlighten thousands of people around the world. The celebration began with paada pooja followed by chinmaya astotram, Guru paduka stotram . All the staff chanted bhajans and took the blessings of Pujya Gurudev.

On June 5th 2022 on the occasion of World Environment Day, students of our Vidyalaya from various grades actively participated in different activities through online. Some students planted saplings andsome of them explained about the theme of the day to their village people.NCC students were also involved in this programme by planting some samplings.

GVK Chinmaya Vidyalaya observed 8th International yoga day in the campus to make students and staff know about the significance of yoga in our day to day life. On the auspicious occasion of Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda ji birth anniversary, GVKCV observed Alumni Day on 30 June 2022. The students of passed out batches were invited. Some of the alumni attended the programme and shared their fond memories.

GVK CV observed the National Doctor’s Day in the Vidyalaya on July 1st. On the occasion of National Doctors’ Day, the students spoke about the role of doctors, the First Lady Doctor's life story, First Doctors Nobel prize winners and the importance of hygiene and proper nutrition.

EVENT : GURU POORNIMA

The Guru's grace removes all obstacles and helps one reach right up to his goal. In order to attain Guru's grace, we should abide by Guru's instructions with utmost sincerity and maintain humility towards our Guru. Our Vidyalaya celebrated Guru poornima on 13-7-2022 in the vidyalaya premises. Resident swamiji organized Guru pooja followed by chanting of Gurustotram , slokas from Bhakti Yoga- Baghawad Geeta.
EVENT : National Mango Day

July 22nd 2022, this marked as a special day known to be “National Mango Day”, focuses on the immense role that is being played by mango. Students of our vidyalaya took a very active part in the celebrations. Our tiny tots of grade-2 have dressed up as different kinds of mangoes grown in various parts of India. Many students from 1 to 3 have showcased their talent by singing rhymes on mango.
EVENT: National Parents Day

GVK Chinmaya vidyalaya celebrated “National Parents Day” on 25 July 2022. The main aim focuses on promotion of responsible parenting and encourages positive reinforcement by parents for children.Students of our vidyalaya made this day as a special one for their parents by organizing a “Padha pooja”, through which they worshiped their parents and showcased their immense respect and love for their parents.
EVENT: ATC- 1 ( NCC CAMP 2022-23 )y

24 Andhra Battalion N.C.C, Nellore organised Annual training camp -1 in the GVK Chinmaya Vidyalaya from 11 July 2022 to 20 July 2022. Around 550 student cadets, 10 ANO and 15 NCC PI staff participated in the NCC training camp from different schools and colleges.
EVENT: MAHA SAMADHI DAY

On 3rd August 2022, Vidyalaya observed Sadhana Divas which is the “Mahasamadhi Day” of our Guruji. Students worshipped Guruji by chanting “Guru Padhuka Stotram” and prayed for blessings of our great leader “Chinamayanandha ji”.

GVKCV celebrated Raksha Bandhan in a wonderful way.
The Principal and teachers explained the significance of Raksha Bandhan with reference to Mahabharat. The girl students had got hand-made rakhis which they tied to their brothers from the class. The brothers gifted their sisters with fruit/chocolate/sweets.
EVENT : INDEPENDENCE DAY

The Vidyalaya celebrated 75 th Independence Day- AZADI KA AMRUT MAHOSTAV in a festive manner. The Teachers and students took part in saluting the flag while our chief guest Mrs. Neeraja (Telugu professor at D.K.W. Women’s College) hoisted the flag. Students showed their adoration through March Past, formed different types of human Pyramids and sang national songs. Kindergarten children presented themselves in attires of different National Leaders.

GVK Chinmaya Vidyalaya celebrated Krishnastami in a grand manner. Students chanted various bhajans and narrated a few stories about the life of Lord Krishna. Our Tiny tots have disguised as Krishna and Gopikas. Students from different classes have exhibited their talent by dancing to Lord Krishna’s Songs.

వ్యావహారిక భాషోద్యమ పితామహుడు ,రావుబహద్దూర్ గిడుగు వెంకట రామమూర్తి పంతులు గారి 159వ జయంతిని పురస్కరించుకుని ఆగష్టు 29, 2022 సోమవారం నాడు విద్యాలయ ఆవరణలోని గిడుగువారి చిత్రపటానికి ప్రిన్సిపాల్ అజిత్ ఠాకూర్ గారు పూలమాల వేసి అంజలి ఘటించారు.. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొన్న ఉపాధ్యాయులలోని శ్రీమతి వేదవతి గారు మాట్లాడుతూ తెలుగును అభ్యసన ఎంచుకోవడం హేయమని ఎన్నడూ భావించరాదని తానూ తెలుగు మాధ్యమంలోనే అభ్యసించానని, తెలుగు చక్కగా నేర్చుకంటే ఎన్ని భాషలనైనా నేర్చుకోవచ్చని తన అనుభవంలోని అంశాలను తెలిపారు. కార్యాక్రమం ఆఖరులో తెలుగు శాఖా బోధకులు విద్యార్థులచే ‘తెలుగు భాషా పరిరక్షణ ప్రతిజ్ఞ’ను చేయించి కార్యక్రమాన్ని ముగించారు.

Ganesh Chathurdhi was celebrated in our Vidyalaya on 30th August, 2022. Students enthusiastically made idols of Lord Ganesha with clay .They performed pooja for the idols the following day.

Pre-Sankranti celebrations were celebrated at GVK CHINMAYA VIDYALAYA including Rangoli competition for girls, kite flying competition conducted for boys at the school playground. Principal sir started the celebrations with a speech about the importance of the festival. After that showers of blessings of bhogi pallu for kids done by our Correspondent mam. After Explaining the importance of the 4 day festival by syam kumar sir.Students sang songs, bhajans and dance performances. After all the children gathered at the school quadrangle and participated in the bhogi firing event. Children enjoyed it a lot.

Republic day was celebrated in GVK CHINMAYA VIDYALAYA on 26th January this year with great eclat. In 2023, the country is celebrating its 74th Republic Day. While India gained independence from the British Raj in 1947, it wasn’t until January 26, 1950, that the Indian Constitution came into effect, and India became a sovereign state, declaring it a republic. Our Chief Guest Respected Dr. Jayaprada unfurled the tricolor and received the honor of Parade. Students sang patriotic songs , exhibited their dancing skills ,Human Pyramids and portrayed their Love of our Country.. A great Milestone in the History of GVK Chinmaya Vidyalaya took place Today that our School Magazine "CHINMAYA SAMSKRUTI " was inaugurated on the Dias by Our Chief Guest.
